We base our routes in Arvada and cover the northwest corner of the Denver metro from there. On a typical day a technician is already working somewhere along Wadsworth, Kipling, or Indiana, which keeps drive times short and lets us fold a same-day call into an existing loop when the schedule has room. The core territory runs from Olde Town and the reservoir neighborhoods out to Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Broomfield, and the newer subdivisions climbing toward Leyden and Candelas.

That spread matters for a brand like Viking, because the kitchens are all over the map. A 1970s ranch near Ralston Creek may hide a retrofit gas line behind the range; a custom build up in West Arvada arrived with a 48-inch dual-fuel and a built-in column fridge from day one. We carry OEM-quality parts for both worlds and quote the repair in person after the on-site diagnostic, so the $89 service call is the only figure you hear before a tech has actually seen the machine.

Phone lines stay open around the clock, so a Sunday-night oven failure reaches a real person instead of a voicemail box. The service visits themselves run daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and when a booking lands early and you sit inside the Arvada core, same-day is often on the table.

We are straight with you about distance. A call in Olde Town or Arvada West usually books sooner than one out past Golden or into north Broomfield, simply because of where the van already is that morning. Book online or call and we will give you a realistic window rather than a hopeful one.

Two things about this stretch of the Front Range show up again and again in the repairs we write. The first is elevation: at roughly a mile high, gas burns leaner, so ranges and cooktops jetted for lower altitudes can throw lazy yellow flames or an oven that never quite settles at temperature. The second is the water. Arvada and its neighbors draw a hard, mineral-heavy supply, and that scale collects inside ice makers, dishwasher spray arms, and any Viking with a steam or coffee function.

Neither is a defect, and neither is anything you caused. They are simply why a Viking here ages differently than the same unit in a humid coastal town — and they are the details a technician who works this metro every week already knows to check first.

Q.01

Do you fix Viking appliances in Westminster and Wheat Ridge, or only inside Arvada?

Both, and more. Arvada is our home base, but our regular territory covers the whole northwest metro, including Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Golden, and Broomfield. Tell us your cross streets and we will confirm the next open window — call (720) 704-2791 or book online.

Q.02

How soon can a technician get to my house in Arvada?

If you book early and live near the Arvada core, same-day is frequently possible; the phone is answered 24/7 and visits run daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Outlying addresses may fall to the next day depending on where the van already is. Book online or call (720) 704-2791 for the real window.

Q.03

Is there an extra travel fee for addresses outside Arvada?

No. The flat $89 service call is the same across our northwest-metro area and is credited toward the repair once you approve the work. What changes with distance is scheduling, not price. Reach us at (720) 704-2791 or book online to lock in a slot.

Questions, answered straight

04 entries
Are you the manufacturer's authorized service for my area?

No. Arvada Viking Appliance Repair is an independent company and is not authorized by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Viking Range, LLC or any manufacturer. We simply service Viking equipment across Arvada and the northwest Denver metro using OEM-quality parts.

What are your service hours across the metro?

Technicians make service visits every day between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, whether you are in Arvada, Westminster, or Golden. Phone lines are staffed 24/7, so you can reach a person and schedule at any hour, even outside visit times.

Can you handle both older and newer Viking installs in these homes?

Yes. The homes out here range from mid-century ranches with retrofit gas lines to recent custom builds with dual-fuel ranges and built-in columns. We come prepared for both and diagnose on site before quoting anything.

Do I need to be home for the visit?

Someone 18 or older should be present so the technician can access the appliance, confirm the symptoms, and review the in-person quote with you before any repair begins. If plans change, call (720) 704-2791 and we will adjust the appointment.

The oven door on our Viking had settled far enough out of true that you could feel heat spilling past the top edge, and anything roasted longer than an hour came out cooked on one side. Tired hinge springs, apparently, not the seal I had been blaming. He replaced them, reset the door, then had me crouch down and sight along the gap myself before and after. Our bungalow off Olde Town is not exactly square either, so I appreciated being shown rather than told.

Water kept dribbling from the dispenser for a good ten seconds after you let go of the paddle, and the ice side had gone erratic with it. I called late in the afternoon and there was a technician at the door before nine the following morning. He put it down to the dispenser solenoid, changed it, cycled it a dozen times to be sure, and left without trying to sell us a single thing beyond the repair we asked for.

One burner scorching, the one beside it unable to hold a simmer — I had assumed a gas supply problem. The simmer plate on the rangetop had warped, which I would never have worked out on my own. What sold me was that he took readings across the burners before he started and again when he finished, and showed me both.

Standing water in the bottom of the Miele after every cycle. I had pulled the filter apart twice looking for the culprit and found nothing. It turned out to be the drain check valve stuck in place, replaced in about half an hour, and six months on the tub is still bone dry at the end of a wash.

The meat probe on our double oven had gone completely dead — plug it in and the display simply ignored it. I had already bought a second probe before calling, which was money wasted, because the fault was in the jack circuit rather than the probe. One visit to sort it, and the $89 diagnostic came off the final bill exactly as I was told it would on the phone.

For a few weeks the ice maker had been dropping cloudy, half-formed cubes into the bin, and the inlet valve turned out to be choked with mineral scale — no great mystery with the water we get here. The diagnosis was right the first time, which I do give them credit for. What costs them the fifth star is that the replacement valve took an extra day to arrive, so it became two visits and a second afternoon of me sitting at home waiting. Ice is clear again and the price was what he quoted, but that second trip was avoidable.
