A different kind of Arvada street

The neighborhoods that ring the base of North Table Mountain read differently than the rest of Arvada. Custom builds sit on half-acre and full-acre parcels, driveways run long, and the kitchen inside is often the reason the house was designed the way it was — a Viking range on the wall, a built-in column refrigerator, sometimes a second wall oven that only earns its keep at the holidays. When one of those anchors quits up here, the homeowner isn't hunting for a generic handyman. They want someone who knows the equipment and is willing to drive out to the far side of the mesa.

Sitting a little higher and more exposed than the valley floor, this pocket of the northwest metro cooks under thinner air, which nudges gas burners toward lazy, soft flames when the orifices and air shutters aren't dialed for the altitude. A fair number of homes out past the pavement also run on propane rather than piped natural gas, and propane needs its own orifice sizing — get it wrong and a beautiful sealed burner either roars or barely catches. We carry setups for both fuels and check combustion on every gas call.

What we handle out here

01

Pro ranges and cooktops

Sealed burners that won't light, oven bake that drifts uneven, convection fans, igniters, and the fuel quirks that come with foothills propane and thin-air natural gas.

02

Built-in refrigeration and wine

Column and side-by-side Viking refrigerators, ice makers fighting hard Front Range water, door gaskets gone brittle in the dry air, and wine coolers that can't hold a set temperature.

03

Ovens, dishwashers, the rest

Wall ovens off temperature, failing control boards, dishwashers scaling up on mineral-heavy water, and vent hoods — the whole luxury kitchen, not only the range.

What a service call looks like up here

01

Call or book online

Reach a real person any hour at (720) 704-2791, or book online. We confirm the appliance, the symptom, and a window that accounts for a longer drive toward the mountain.

02

On-site diagnostic

A technician comes to you, 8 AM to 6 PM daily and often same day. The $89 service call covers a full diagnosis and is credited toward the repair once you approve it.

03

Clear quote, OEM parts

You get the exact repair price in person, after we've seen the fault — never a guess over the phone. Parts are OEM-quality and factory-specified for your model.

04

Repair and verify

Most jobs finish in one visit. Before we leave we run the appliance, recheck flame or temperature, and make sure the fix holds under real use.

Built for the longer driveway

STOCKED FOR THE DRIVE

Larger lots change the logistics of a service call. We stock the van for the trip, so a common igniter, gasket, valve, or control board can go in the same day rather than triggering a second drive up the hill. When a part has to be ordered against a specific serial number, we tell you that on the first visit and schedule the return around your calendar.

From the North Table benches we also cover the surrounding foothills and the streets that feed them — Fairmount, Van Bibber, West Woods, Leyden, and over toward Golden and Ralston Valley. Same independent service and the same 24/7 phone line, whichever side of the ridgeline you're on.

Q.01

Do you repair Viking appliances near North Table Mountain and Golden?

Yes. We're an independent luxury-appliance service company covering the North Table Mountain foothills, western Arvada, and neighboring Golden. We handle Viking ranges, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and wine coolers. Call (720) 704-2791 or book online to set a visit.

Q.02

My gas range flame looks weak in the foothills — is that the altitude?

Often, yes. At this elevation, and especially on propane homes past the natural-gas mains, burner orifices and air shutters have to be sized right or the flame burns soft and yellow. We tune combustion on site as part of the repair. Call (720) 704-2791 to have it checked.

Q.03

Can you come the same day to a home off the paved roads near the mesa?

When the schedule allows, yes — we work the whole area daily from 8 AM to 6 PM and stock the van so many repairs finish in one trip. A longer drive just means we lock in a window up front. Book online or call (720) 704-2791.

Questions, answered straight

05 entries
Is there a service call fee?

Yes, an $89 service call covers the on-site diagnosis and is credited toward the repair once you approve the work. You get the exact repair price in person after the technician sees the fault, never a firm number over the phone.

Do you work on propane appliances, not just natural gas?

We do. Plenty of homes around North Table Mountain run on propane, and the burner orifices differ from natural gas. We carry the right parts for both fuels and verify the setup is correct before we leave.

Are you affiliated with Viking or the manufacturer?

No. We're a fully independent repair company — not authorized or endorsed by Viking Range, Middleby, or any manufacturer. We simply specialize in servicing these appliances, using OEM-quality parts.

What other areas near North Table Mountain do you cover?

Alongside the mountain's foothills we serve Fairmount, Van Bibber, West Woods, Leyden, and Ralston Valley, plus Golden and central Arvada — the northwest Denver metro broadly.

How do I reach you if there's no email or form?

By phone at (720) 704-2791, answered 24/7, or through online booking. We keep it to those two so a real person handles your appliance instead of an inbox.

The oven door on our Viking had settled far enough out of true that you could feel heat spilling past the top edge, and anything roasted longer than an hour came out cooked on one side. Tired hinge springs, apparently, not the seal I had been blaming. He replaced them, reset the door, then had me crouch down and sight along the gap myself before and after. Our bungalow off Olde Town is not exactly square either, so I appreciated being shown rather than told.

Water kept dribbling from the dispenser for a good ten seconds after you let go of the paddle, and the ice side had gone erratic with it. I called late in the afternoon and there was a technician at the door before nine the following morning. He put it down to the dispenser solenoid, changed it, cycled it a dozen times to be sure, and left without trying to sell us a single thing beyond the repair we asked for.

One burner scorching, the one beside it unable to hold a simmer — I had assumed a gas supply problem. The simmer plate on the rangetop had warped, which I would never have worked out on my own. What sold me was that he took readings across the burners before he started and again when he finished, and showed me both.

Standing water in the bottom of the Miele after every cycle. I had pulled the filter apart twice looking for the culprit and found nothing. It turned out to be the drain check valve stuck in place, replaced in about half an hour, and six months on the tub is still bone dry at the end of a wash.

The meat probe on our double oven had gone completely dead — plug it in and the display simply ignored it. I had already bought a second probe before calling, which was money wasted, because the fault was in the jack circuit rather than the probe. One visit to sort it, and the $89 diagnostic came off the final bill exactly as I was told it would on the phone.

For a few weeks the ice maker had been dropping cloudy, half-formed cubes into the bin, and the inlet valve turned out to be choked with mineral scale — no great mystery with the water we get here. The diagnosis was right the first time, which I do give them credit for. What costs them the fifth star is that the replacement valve took an extra day to arrive, so it became two visits and a second afternoon of me sitting at home waiting. Ice is clear again and the price was what he quoted, but that second trip was avoidable.
